Home Improvement Update - 27 March 2011 / Storage Shelf #3

I finished the third storage shelf yesterday. This one was quick and easy since it is half the size of the last one. It is already filled with our camping gear.



We also started framing off more of the basement. We finished the wall between the hallway and the storage room, all the way up to the opening for the bathroom door. Before we can do any more framing, we have to figure out the layout of our bathroom. The plan is to lay it out and frame it, but to buy the fixtures later when more money becomes available. I will likely have to bust up some more concrete and run a new drain or two to make it fit Jenny's desires.





Last Saturday I also finally installed the can lights in the living room. Those lights make a huge difference in that room. Before, we only had the 60 watts coming from the light on the fan, which faces up. Now we have 4 additional 60 watt bulbs, all facing down.
