Piranhakeet Chomper

Today the kids built this piranhakeet chomper project.  I think it is supposed to be a bird that chomps like a piranha.  It has a handle at the bottom that allows you to control the beak opening and closing.  This project was a pain.  Some of the main moving parts were made of pressed wood particles, which wouldn't hold the nail when you tried to nail them together.  Brenna's worked fine, but I had to tweak Zadik's and Alise's to make them work.  Alise's broke after about 10 seconds.  I am looking forward to a simpler project next month.
