January was pretty good.  We spent a decent amount of time reading.

Can you believe these two are sitting this close and not fighting?

All the kids spent half the winter on the heads.

Zadik built a zip line in his room using a "rope" made of yarn he had finger crocheted.  One support pole is the bamboo pole on his bed.  The other is a cardboard pole duct taped to his windowsill.

Alise loves spending time with Abibi.

We built snow forts and had a few epic snow battles.

Brenna had a fun birthday party celebrating her seventh year on earth.  She had a bunch of friends come to the house.  The theme was a carnival, with lots of dog items.

Everyone got to pick a puppy as part of their goody bags.

We borrowed a cotton candy machine.

Alise did balloon animals.

One of the parents did face painting.

Since we did a dog party for Brenna, Alise had to have a cat party to celebrate her birthday.  She had her party at a roller skating rink.

Jenny made some awesome cat cupcakes.
